About the role
As a Transcription Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing transcripts and summary documents for meetings, conferences, and events. You’ll oversee a portfolio of active clients, handle incoming enquiries, and collaborate closely with the Production team to ensure timely and accurate delivery. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You’ll also contribute to client retention and growth through relationship-building and cross-selling across services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of active clients within the Transcription Sales team.
- Handle incoming enquiries, including discovery, quotation and negotiation.
- Liaise with the Production team to ensure that client deadlines and expectations are managed effectively.
- Create tailored invoices with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to generate opportunities within other departments.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business year-on-year.
- Work as part of a team, supporting each other’s portfolios.
- Understand all services across the business, enabling efficient cross-selling.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a client-facing or customer service role. (Required)
- 1-2 years within an Account Manager role. (Desired)
- 1-2 years of experience working within a language service provider or transcription‑related services. (Desired)
- Excellent attention to detail, efficiency and responsiveness.
- Confident and professional telephone and email manner.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
