About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Analytics & Recruitment Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR data management, reporting, compliance, and recruitment operations. You will assist in collecting and maintaining HR data, creating insightful dashboards and reports, and ensuring policy compliance across various HR functions. Additionally, you will support recruitment activities—from sourcing candidates and managing job postings to enhancing employer branding efforts. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop analytical, organizational, and communication skills while contributing to meaningful HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Collection & Management
    • Gathering HR Data: Collect data related to employee performance, attendance, productivity, and engagement from different systems (HRIS, performance management tools, etc.). Data Entry: Input data accurately into HR databases or analytics software, ensuring completeness and integrity.
    • Database Management: Assist in maintaining HR databases, ensuring the data is up-to-date and organized.
  • Reporting & Dashboards
    • Assist in Creating Dashboards: Help in designing or updating interactive dashboards that visualize performance and analytics data for HR leadership.
    • Monthly/Quarterly Reports: Compile regular reports for management, summarizing key performance indicators (KPIs) like employee productivity, time-to-hire, or training outcomes.
    • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Provide customized reports or analysis for specific queries, such as investigating performance gaps in certain departments.
  • Compliance & Documentation
    • Policy Compliance: Ensure that all data collection, storage, and analysis activities comply with HR policies and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
    • Documentation: Maintain proper documentation of performance management processes, analytics methodologies, and reporting procedures.
  • Support Recruitment & Talent Acquisition in:
    • Operational Recruitment Support: Manage approved recruitment requests and ensure smooth execution of the hiring process.
    • Candidate Sourcing & Selection: Define job ads, publish vacancies, source candidates, conduct pre-screenings, and coordinate interviews and testing.
    • Process Optimization: Contribute to refining recruitment processes to improve efficiency and ensure compliance with company policies.
    • Strategic Sourcing: Identify and attract top talent through cost-effective sourcing strategies and appropriate recruitment channels.
    • Employer Branding & Outreach: Support employer branding initiatives by engaging with students, developing partnerships with schools, and participating in job fairs.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
  • Basic understanding of HR functions, particularly performance management and recruitment
  • Familiarity with data management tools (Excel, Google Sheets; knowledge of HRIS or analytics platforms is a plus)
  • Ability to work with confidential information and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR)
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with reporting tools or dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a bonus
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to team goals
  • Availability to commit to the internship for the specified duration
