About the role

Acolad is looking for a skilled and motivated Legal Officer to join our global legal team. In this role, you will support the Legal Director and play a key part in managing the corporate and contractual affairs of the Acolad Group. From maintaining legal compliance and corporate documentation to reviewing and negotiating contracts, you'll ensure our business operations are legally sound and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the corporate life of Acolad’s companies keeping all necessary documents up to date;
  • Draft and review legal agreements and any other contractual documents such as framework contracts and NDAs in French and English (and other languages if required);
  • Draft corporate meeting minutes for Acolad´s companies and any required documents regarding corporate matters (proxies, powers of attorney, etc...);
  • Assist regarding insurances and real estate matters;
  • Assist on litigation subjects;
  • Assist in executing formalities with private and public entities;
  • Perform other support and legal reporting functions assigned by the Legal Director, including archive, filings and review of internal policies.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • 3–6 years of legal experience (open to junior or mid-level)
  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Law (specialization in Business or Corporate Law preferred)
  • Languages
    • English and French: Mandatory
  • Skills
    • Corporate and/or Business law oriented on an EU and international scale
    • Excellent interpersonal skills: negotiation/relationship building skills
    • Comfortable operating in an international and multi-cultural environment
    • Flexibility and adaptability in approach to all tasks
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
