About the role

Acolad is looking for a strategic and hands-on HR Business Partner to support our teams across Italy. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to local managers, ensuring HR practices align with business goals and comply with French employment regulations. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle, drive initiatives that foster engagement and wellbeing, and play a key role in employee relations, payroll supervision, and HR process optimization. This is a high-impact position ideal for an experienced HR professional with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building inclusive, high-performing workplaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee HR for professionals in France.
  • Be a trusted advisor to managers, helping with HR matters and employee support.
  • Drive simple and efficient HR processes, anticipating the need for automation.
  • Collaborate with leaders to align HR with business goals.
  • Execute HR operations, including payroll.
  • Attract, develop, and retain talent, ensuring strong staffing and development plans.
  • Provide strategic advice on performance and rewards.
  • Work on global HR projects to improve how the team works.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws.

Requirements

  • Master degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 8 + years as an HR Generalist or similar role, with experience in different cultures and fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of French Employment Laws.
  • Fluent in French, and English.
  • Experience with payroll and HR systems like SAP.
  • Availability to travel.
  • Able to work well with people worldwide.
  • Experience guiding teams through change and managing HR processes like performance management and salary planning.
  • A team player with great communication skills, who is driven, confident, and can handle pressure.
  • Skilled in resolving conflicts and handling sensitive information professionally.
  • Eligibility to work in France.
