About the role
To lead and manage pre-sales activities for strategic interpreting opportunities by shaping tailored solutions and services, building pricing models, conducting profit and loss (P&L) analyses, and creating compelling content for technical proposals. The role is critical to driving business growth, ensuring solution viability, and strengthening competitive positioning through consultative expertise and operational alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Serve as a lead strategic partner to the sales team, driving the response process for RFIs/RFPs through effective coordination and leadership.
- Guide the development of comprehensive, client-centric solution plans for complex localization initiatives.
- Provide senior-level insight during account planning, influencing direction based on market and client intelligence.
- Track proposal performance metrics and implement continuous improvements.
- Monitor industry shifts and competitor offerings to ensure continued relevance and innovation in our pre-sales approach.
- Recommend updates to the company’s services portfolio to align with evolving customer expectations.
Operational Management & Process Improvement
- Standardize best practices and maintain solution assets, templates, and toolkits for efficiency and consistency.
- Develop and validate pricing and P&L models, ensuring long-term sustainability.
- Lead the creation of persuasive, high-impact proposal documents and presentations.
Customer, Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent solution strategy in key client engagements and pre-sales discussions.
- Align solutions with client business goals, acting as a trusted advisor during the pre-sales cycle.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations, Technology, and Delivery to ensure alignment between proposed solutions and operational capabilities.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to refine solution packaging and delivery models based on client feedback and internal innovation.
- Partner with sales and delivery teams during onboarding to ensure continuity and alignment.
Sales, Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Influence delivery models based on learnings from the field and evolving client needs.
- Advocate for unique value propositions that differentiate the company in competitive bids.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Synthesize technical capabilities and operational models into clear business narratives.
- Serve as a feedback loop to internal teams on emerging trends, solution performance, and client expectations.
Requirements
Experience:
- >3 years of experience in in a pre-sales, operational, or solutions-focused role; previous experience in interpreting (corporate and/ or public sector, events and/ or OPI/VRI/OSI). Proven experience managing complex solution design processes and commercial engagements.
Level of Education: Bachelor's degree

- SharePoint and/or Jira for collaboration and workflow management
- PowerPoint, Visio, Miro, or FigJam for solution mapping and presentation design
- Familiarity with interpreting technology (RSI, OPI/ VRI/ OSI)
