About the role

The role is based in Belgium and will cover the Belgian market and international accounts managed by Acolad’s Belgian division. 

As a hands-on, sales-focused account professional, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within your portfolio by building strong customer relationships and actively converting opportunities into tangible business results.

This role requires a proactive, high-touch approach, combining practical account management with direct selling, upselling, and cross-selling activities.

You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, address risks early, and consistently identify ways to expand the partnership while keeping a clear focus on execution and pipeline growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong client relationships through regular contact
  • Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Manage day-to-day account needs and requests
  • Monitor account health and mitigate risks
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Keep CRM data, pipeline, and forecasts up to date
  • Support issue resolution and client satisfaction

 

Goals & Derivables

  • Grow revenue within assigned accounts
  • Maintain a healthy, active sales pipeline
  • Execute clear actions from account plans
  • Contribute to business reviews and follow-ups
  • Track performance (revenue, risks, opportunities)
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention

Requirements

  • Native or fluent in Dutch, with good command of French preferred, and solid proficiency in English
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar account management or business development position, with a proven track record of managing and growing large, complex and enterprise accounts (across diverse industries);
  • Experience working in the technology sector, with familiarity with tech-driven solutions and environments
  • Strong, operational knowledge of sales management tools (e.g. Salesforce);
  • Ability to spend time on-site in our Brussels office
